Each year, the Screen Actors Guild Awards holds a series of online auctions to benefit the SAG Foundation, helping to sustain their award winning children’s literacy programs as well as supporting the Foundation’s Catastrophic Health Fund and emergency services, the Actors Center, and the video preservation of the creative legacy of professional actors.

The first auction in the series runs from November 18th to the 28th, 2011 and features 70 seats in the bleachers along the star-studded red carpet.

Other items in this first auction are:

Hotel Packages & Backstage Tours

Dine & Wine Packages

Makeup & Makeovers

SAG Awards Gifts

Special Red Carpet Positioning

More info on the auction can be found at www.sagawards.org/auction.

The next auction in the series, starting in December, will feature vacation packages, set visits, tickets to other award shows, autographed memorabilia and signed posters from this year’s films and television shows, wine crafting, jewelry and more. The Ceremony Auction, the final one in the series, revolves around the nominated actors and ensembles, and will be held in January during the week of the SAG Awards simulcast.

The 18th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards honoring the outstanding film and television performances of 2011 will be simulcast live on TNT and TBS on Sunday, Jan. 29 at 8 p.m. ET. Stick with DigitalHit.com for all your 2012 SAG Awards coverage.
