Seven films considered for Sound Editing Oscar

AMPAS will be considering seven films for Achievement in Sound Editing for the 78th Academy Awards®.

The films are listed below in alphabetical order:

  • The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe
  • Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
  • King Kong
  • Memoirs of a Geisha
  • Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith
  • Walk the Line
  • War of the Worlds

After viewing ten-minute clip reels from each of the seven films, the Sound Editing Award Committee will vote to nominate three of the seven films for Oscar® consideration.
