Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner announce divorce

Jennifer Garner, seen here at TIFF 2013’s Men, Women & Children premiere, is ending her marriage to Ben Affleck.

The tabloids have been speculating about it for some time and now Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner have issued a statement stating their intent to end their 10-year marriage.

“After much thought and careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to divorce,” the statement read. “We go forward with love and friendship for one another and a commitment to co-parenting our children whose privacy we ask to be respected during this difficult time.”
