Broadway legend Gwen Verdon, a four-time Tony winner, has died of natural causes at age 75. Broadway theaters dimmed their lights at 8 p.m. Wednesday as a tribute.

Verdon also appeared in several musical and non-musical films throughout her career, but her true fame came from her stage work.

She won her four Tony Awards for Can-Can, Damn Yankees, New Girl in Town and Redhead. She met her second husband, Bob Fosse, during that time. Her last big stage gig was acting as an artistic advisor on the Garth Drabinsky production of Fosse.
