Downey Jr. wins appeal

Actor Robert Downey Jr., who is serving a three-year prison term for drug possession, could be released as early as today.

Downey Jr.‘s lawyers had appealed his sentence, which would have seen him released in November, saying the L.A. Superior Court judge had made an error by not including 53 days he had already served in rehab. Add the credit for good behavior and the Oscar®-nominated film star is a free man.
