Nick Carter faces two counts in DUI arrest

Nick Carter’s 2002 solo album may have been a flop, but at least he can say his recent DUI arrest was successful.

The 25-year-old Backstreet Boys singer was charged on Tuesday with drunken driving. The former boyfriend of spacy socialite Paris Hilton faces two counts: one count of driving under the influence and one count of driving with a blood alcohol level above 0.08. Assistant District Attorney Ted Burnett said Carter will have an April 13 arraignment.

According to Carter spokesperson Juliette Harris, “Nick Carter deeply regrets the current situation. He is on doctor prescribed medication and was unaware of its interaction possibilities.”
