Murphy’s wife files for divorce

Eddie Murphy’s wife Nicole filed divorce papers in Los Angeles Superior Court on Friday, citing irreconcilable differences.
The couple, who have been separated since July, have four daughters and one son. They married in 1993.
In a statement released by the actor, he said, “The welfare of our children is our main concern and their best interest is our first priority.”
