Nicole Richie arrested for DUI

Simple Life star Nicole Richie, 25, was arrested this morning for suspicion of driving under the influence.

The California Highway Patrol says that Richie was stopped while driving the wrong way on State Highway 134. The arrest took place before 5 a.m. Pacific Time. Police were responding to several 911 calls that a black Mercedes SUV was driving against traffic. Police found Richie stopped in the car pool lane of the highway.
