Paris Hilton headed to jail

First there was One Night in Paris; now there’s 45 days in jail.

Paris Hilton, the socialite porn star, was sentenced to 45 days in county jail for violating her probation. The judge ordered Paris to report to jail by June 5th and said she would not be allowed any work releases, furloughs, cushy jails, or electronic monitoring.

The heiress said before the sentence that, “I’m very sorry and from now on I’m going to pay complete attention to everything. I’m sorry and I did not do it on purpose at all.”

Hilton, who had her license suspended for an alcohol-related reckless driving charge, testified today that she did not read a document handed to her by a police officer in January that stated she was under suspension.

The judge didn’t have much time for the heir-head’s lawyers either. “I can’t believe that either attorney did not tell her that the suspension had been upheld,” he said. “She wanted to disregard everything that was said and continue to drive no matter what.”

‘s parents — now there’s a crime — were at today’s proceedings. An angry Kathy Hilton told reporters that, “This is pathetic and disgusting, a waste of taxpayer money with all this nonsense. This is a joke.” Kind of like her parenting skills.
