The Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced that the 2010 Miss Golden Globe will be introduced at The Second Annual Golden Globes Party Saluting Young Hollywood, which will take place at Nobu on Tuesday, December 8th, 2009.

While over 200 of Hollywood’s brightest young stars attended last year’s inaugural event, “This year’s party will be even more exciting,” said Philip Berk, HFPA President, “because the 2010 Miss Golden Globe will be revealed for the first time.”

Traditionally, Miss Golden Globe, who assists in the Golden Globes ceremony, is the daughter of a well-known celebrity. Previous Miss Golden Globe honorees include Rumer Willis (daughter of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis), Laura Dern (daughter of Diane Ladd and Bruce Dern), Joely Fisher (daughter of Connie Stevens and Eddie Fisher), and Melanie Griffith (daughter of Tippi Hedren).

Nominations for the 67th Annual Golden Globe Awards will be announced at 5:00 am PST on Tuesday, December 15, while the telecast, hosted by Ricky Gervais, will be broadcast live coast to coast Sunday, January 17 on NBC.
