Warrant issued for Lindsay Lohan’s arrest after no-show at court

Lindsay Lohan’s troubles just got a whole lot bigger.

Judge Marsha Revel issued a bench warrant for Lohan’s arrest this morning in LA, when the actress-turned-stumbler failed to show for a probation hearing. Apparently, Lohan’s “my passport was stolen in Cannes” story was about as effective as a fifth-grader’s “the dog ate my homework.” (Apologies to the fifth-grader, who is most likely more intelligent than LiLo.)

Saying “actions speak louder than words” the judge said Lohan knew the court date was approaching and could have made every effort to replace the passport, which French authorities say has not been reported stolen, contrary to the story Lindsay’s selling.

Bail was set at $100,000 and, if she follows certain conditions, Lohan can remain free until the next court hearing. The conditions include drinking no alcohol, wearing a SCRAM (Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitor) bracelet and submitting to random drug testing at least once a week.
