Academy presents 40 Years of Sound for Film

The Science and Technology Council of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences will present 40 Years of Sound on Film at the Linwood Dunn Theater in Hollywood on March 6th at 8pm.

Oscar®-winning sound mixers Tom Fleischman and Chris Newman will take attendees through process of building a film’s soundtrack using clips from Hugo, The Silence of the Lambs and The French Connection.
