Harrison Ford escapes penalties from FAA.

Good news for Harrison Ford. The Star Wars actor won’t be facing any penalties for the February 13th incident that saw him land his plane on a taxiway at the John Wayne Airport in Orange County. He could have face penalties that included fines, a suspension, or even a complete loss of his pilot’s license.

Ford’s attorney, Stephen Hofer, released a statement saying that, “Mr. Ford retains his pilot’s certificate without restriction. In closing the matter, the agency acknowledged Mr.Ford’s long history of compliance with the federal aviation regulations and his cooperative attitude during the investigation.”

No idea if the Rebel Alliance will still let Ford’s alter ego, Han Solo, fly the Millennium Falcon.
