Jolie given Cambodian citizenship

Actress/UN Ambassador Angelina Jolie was made a Cambodian citizen after King Norodom Sihamoni signed a royal decree on July 31st.

Jolie, whose adopted son Maddox is from Cambodia, was offered the citizenship by Prime Minister Hun Sen who wanted to recognize Jolie’s generosity when she visited the country last summer. The Oscar® winner is giving Cambodian Vision in Development a $1.5 million donation to support its enviromental work.
