Daily reading

When I’m not doing the entertainment-related stuff like watching flicks, taking photos and covering awards, you’ll find me elbow-deep in the guts of the site — coding XHTML, writing database backends, and trying to keep DigitalHit.com standards-compliant and accessible to people using a variety of browsers and devices. The fun stuff that requires a lot of coffee, late nights, but luckily no tuxedos.

To keep on top of all this stuff I read a lot of people daily. The great thing about all of them is that their sites don’t just keep you informed, they also exude the humanity of the person behind each keyboard.

My two über-gurus are Zeldman and CodeBitch. Great writers and fighters for standards-compliant designs and browsers that will actually follow ‘em without exploding. In no other particular order, here are the people that help inform, teach and amuse me.
