Jimmy Fallon and the cast of Glee open up the show by singing "Born to Run".

"NBC asking the host of Late Night to come to Los Angeles to host another show. What could go wrong?," he says as the camera cuts to Conan O'Brien.

We see a series of clips for the Year in Comedy.

Jon Hamm and Betty White are tonight's first presenters. They're presenting Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series. And the Emmy goes to Eric Stonestreet from Modern Family. He says he's the product of a supportive family and that the Emmy will go home to his parents so they can see what they let him achieve.

Back to Jimmy Fallon who reads some presenter introductions from Twitter. The presenters are Sofia Vergara and Jim Parsons. They're presenting Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series. And the Emmy goes to Steven Levitan and Christopher Lloyd for Modern Family. Levitan accepts.

"Our next presenter is a man Stephen Colbert calls a 'national treasure': Stephen Colbert." Colbert's presenting Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series. And the Emmy goes to Jane Lynch.

Matthew Perry and Lauren Graham stroll out next. They talk about the Guest Actress and Actor in a Comedy Series that were presented last week at the Creative Arts ceremony. The winners were Betty White and Neil Patrick Harris. Graham and Perry then present Outstanding Directing For A Comedy Series. Ryan Murphy wins for Glee.

And the Emmy goes to Mad Men's Robin Veith and Matthew Weiner. Meloni and Hargitay then present Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series. And the Emmy goes to Aaron Paul for Breaking Bad.

9:10 PM ET

Emily Deschanel and Nathan Fillion are paired to present Outstanding Supporting Actress In A Drama Series. And the Emmy goes to Archie Panjabi for The Good Wife.

9:12 PM ET

Jimmy intros Emmy winner Edie Falco, who's presenting Lead Actor in a Drama Series. And the Emmy goes to Bryan Cranston for Breaking Bad. It's his third consecutive Emmy win.

9:19 PM ET

Undercover's Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Boris Kodjoe are up to bat next. They talk about the Guest Actress and Actor in a Drama Series that were presented last week at the Creative Arts ceremony. The winners were John Lithgow and Ann-Margret. They then present Outstanding Directing For A Drama Series to first-time winner Steve Shill for Dexter.

9:23 PM ET

As Elton John, Boyz II Men and Green Day, Fallon pays tribute to three shows that ended this year: 24, Law & Order, and Lost.

9:31 PM ET

Matthew Morrison and Tina Fey are presenting Lead Actress in a Drama Series. And the Emmy goes to Kyra Sedgwick for The Closer. It's her first Emmy win.

9:34 PM ET

Stephen Colbert and Jummy introduce the Year in Variety. Joel McHale and Jeff Probst present Outstanding Writing For A Variety, Music Or Comedy Special. And the Emmy goes to Dave Boone for the 63rd Annual Tony Awards.

9:45 PM ET

"I used to think this guy was a fat, rude, loud-mouthed Brit. But now he's lost some weight," says Fallon as he introduces Ricky Gervais. Gervais says he won't make fun of Mel Gibson. "He's been through a lot. Not as much as the Jews." He then presents Outstanding Directing For A Variety, Music Or Comedy Special. He says he hopes the award goes to "Bucky Gunts" because "we're all Bucky Gunts here." Gervais is excited that his joke has gone full circle as Bucky Gunts wins for the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games Opening Ceremony. Gervais then presents Outstanding Variety, Music Or Comedy Series. And the Emmy goes to The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. Oh well, it would've been delicious if Conan's Tonight Show won.

Julianna Margulies presents the Bob Hope Humanitatian Award to George Clooney. He gets a standing ovation. He says it's easy to highlight the tragedies currently in the news but he'd love it if someone could find a way to keep shining the light on areas that need help after they fade from the headlines.

Laurence Fishburne presents Outstanding Miniseries. And the Emmy goes to The Pacific. Producer Tom Hanks accepts. Laurence then presents Outstanding Made For Television Movie. And the Emmy goes to Temple Grandin.

Fallon introduces Tom Selleck, who he calls his "real father." He then presents Outstanding Drama Series. And the Emmy goes to AMC's Mad Men. It's the show's third consecutive win.
