8:00 pm

Andy and Sandra take to the stage. “We’ll hand out the awards and one lucky winner will get to host the Oscars.” They then proceed to fail miserably at roasting the audience, dishing out compliments instead of insults.

8:12 pm

Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga are the first presenters, presenting Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy. And the Golden Globe goes to Michael Douglas for The Kominsky Method.

8:16 pm

Four members of the Black Panther cast — Chadwick Boseman, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, and Michael B. Jordan — introduce a clip from the movie. They then introduce the nominees for Best Animated Feature. And the Golden Globe goes to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

Sandra and Andy introduce Emma Stone, Olivia Colman and Rachel Weisz introduce a clip from the film The Favourite.

8:26 pm

Kaley Cuoco, Johnny Galecki and Jim Parsons introduce the nominees for Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series – Drama. And the Golden Globe goes to Richard Madden for Bodyguard.

The Big Bang Theory trio then read the nominees for Best Television Series – Drama. And the Golden Globe goes to The Americans.

Hollywood Foreign Press Association president, Indian journalist Meher Tatna, talks about freedom of the press worldwide and announces $1 million grants to two journalism organizations.

John David Washington and Adam Driver introduce a clip from Spike Lee’s BlackKklansman.

Taraji P. Henson and Gina Rodriguez introduce the nominees for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Series, Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television. And the Golden Globe goes to Ben Whishaw for A Very English Scandal.

Ben Stiller and Jamie Lee Curtis present Best Performance by an Actress in a Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television. And the Golden Globe goes to Patricia Arquette for Escape at Dannemora.

Oh and Samberg send out a group of nurses into the audience to give members of the audience flu shots. They say it’s a better bit of schtick then ordering pizza like they do on other shows.

Steve Carell is here now to introduce the new award for lifetime achievement in television, The Carol Burnett Award. Fittingly, the first recipient is Carol Burnett. After a clip package of her illustrious career, Carol comes out to a thundering ovation. “Does this mean I get to accept this every year?” she asks.

Idris Elba and Taylor Swift are presenting two awards tonight. The first is Original Score – Motion Picture. And the Golden Globe goes to Justin Hurwitz for First Man.

Idris and Taylor then present Best Original Song. And the Golden Globe goes to “Shallow” from A Star is Born. Mark Ronson speaks first followed by Lady Gaga.

Idris then gets to have a personal moment, introducing tonight’s Golden Globe Ambassador, his daughter Isan.

Samberg and Oh show some clips of great moments in the Golden Globes…all featuring them. They then introduce Octavia Spencer who intros a clip from Green Book.

Allison Janney and Sam Rockwell present Supporting Actress – Motion Picture. And the Golden Globe goes to Regina King for If Beale Street Could Talk. She thanks the team of publicists who worked so hard to get people to see the movie. She challenges future productions to make their creative teams 50% women.

Kristen Bell and Megan Mullally are presenting Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series – Drama. And the Golden Globe goes to tonight’s host Sandra Oh for Killing Eve.

“Was it fun to win?” Samberg asks Oh before introducing Amy Poehler and Maya Rudolph. They poke fun at supporting actors lines before presenting the Globe for Supporting Actor – Motion Picture. And the Golden Globe goes to Mahershala Ali for Green Book.

Amy and Maya are now presenting Screenplay but first do a bit poking fun at the wedding proposal at the Emmys. And the Golden Globe goes to Nick Vallelonga, Brian Currie and Peter Farrelly for Green Book.

The beautiful couple of William H. Macy and Felicity Huffman are presenting Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Series, Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television. And the Golden Globe goes to Patricia Clarkson for Sharp Objects.

Saoirse Ronan presents Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical/Comedy. And the Golden Globe goes to Vice’s Christian Bale. “Thank you to Satan for giving me inspiration on how to play this role.”

Catherine Zeta-Jones and Antonio Banderas are the team chosen to present Best Foreign Language Film. And the Golden Globe goes to ROMA from Mexico. Director Alfonso Cuarón accepts the award.

Tyler Perry is here to present the clip for Vice.

Taron Egerton and Amber Heard are the presenters for Best Performance by an Actor in a Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television. And the Golden Globe goes to Darren Criss for The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story.

Samberg and Oh introduce Chris Pine, whose task tonight is to introduce tonight’s Cecil B. DeMille recipient Jeff Bridges. His old pal Sam Elliott narrates the clip package of his illustrious career. Bridges gets a standing ovation as he takes to the stage.

Harrison Ford is up next. “Nobody told me I had to follow Jeff Bridges,” quips Ford as he gets ready to present Best Director. And the Golden Globe goes to Alfonso Cuarón for Roma. “You were after Jeff Bridges and now I’m after Jeff Bridges and Harrison Ford,” he jokes.

Sam Elliott takes to the stage to present the clip from A Star is Born.

Oh ans Samberg introduce the next presenters by saying they’re from This Is Us “…so get out your tissues because you’re going to want to masturbate to all of them.”

Sterling K. Brown, Chrissy Metz and Justin Hartley are presenting Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy. And the Golden Globe goes to Rachel Brosnahan for The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.

The This Is Us trio are now presenting Best Television Series – Musical or Comedy. And the Golden Globe goes to The Kominsky Method. Producer Chuck Lorre accepts.

Emily Blunt and Dick Van Dyke are out next and Dick gets a well-deserved ovation. His cameo in Mary Poppins Returns is just magical. The pair inro a clip from the film.

Halle Berry and Lena Waithe are presenting Best Television Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television. And the Golden Globe goes to The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story.

Anne Hathaway and Jessica Chastain are the team to present Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture – Musical/Comedy. And the Golden Globe goes to Olivia Colman for The Favourite. She thanks “my bitches”, Emma Stone and Rachel Weisz, her co-stars in the film.

Richard Gere and Julianne Moore team up to present Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama. And the Golden Globe goes to Rami Malek for Bohemian Rhapsody.

Nicole kidman is now presenting Best Motion Picture – Drama. And the Golden Globe goes to Bohemian Rhapsody. And now we can watch half of Twitter celebrate and the other half set it on fire.
