8:00 PM

The show opens with a performance by Camila Cabello. She's joined by Ricky Martin and J Balvin as she performs "Havana".

8:06 PM

Our host, Alicia Keys, takes to the stage to welcome us. Her outfit looks like she's channeling her inner Rhoda Morgenstern. She says a few words, then introduces her "sisters", Lada Gaga, Jada Pinkett Smith, Michelle Obama and Jennifer Lopez. Gaga says that she was told she was weird but music led her to her aaudience. Lopez says that music took her from the Bronz and allows her to be free. Pinkett Smith says every voice needs to be heard and respected while Michelle Obama says music has always helped her tell her story and allows us to invite each other in.

Keys intros Shawn Mendes, who performs "In My Blood". He's joined by Miley Cyrus. The two performed together on Friday at the MusicCares tribute to Dolly Parton.

New England Patriots Juilan Edelman and Devin McCourty are tonight's first presenters and they're handing out the harware for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. And the Grammy goes to Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper for "Shallow".

Nina Dobrev, star of the new CBS sitcom Fam, is out next to introduce a performance by Kacey Musgraves. She sings "Rainbow".

Alicia Keys introduces Janelle Monae, who performs "Make Me Feel".

Alicia reminds us that she has won 15 Grammys. She mentions that John Mayer once won a Grammy she was hoping to win. He thought they should share it so he broke it in half and sent it to her. Mayer joins her on the stage and the pair present Song of the Year. And the Grammy goes to "This is America" by Chilish Gambino. He's not there, so they accept it on her behalf. Keys then introduces a performance by Post Malone and Red Hot Chili Peppers. Their performance includes "Dark Necessities."

Anna Kendrick introduces a tribute to Dolly Parton. Kacey Musgraves and Katy Perry duet on "Here You Come Again". They're joined by Dolly. Dolly is then joined by Miley Cyrus, who sings "Jolene" with her. The pair are then joined by Maren Morris and the trio sings "After the Goldrush". Dolly then joins Little Big Town on her new song "Red Shoes". The whole gang then joins her on "9 to 5".

Alicia Keys pays tribute to Clarence Avant, then introduces a performance by H.E.R., who performs "Hard Place".

Moving right along, Alicia Keys intros a performance by Cardi B, who tells us how much she like "Money".

By the way, for those keeping track, we're ninety minutes into the show and only two awards have been handed out. But now here's a third, presented by Meghan Trainor, Luke Combs and Kane Brown. They're presenting Best Country Album. And the Grammy goes to Kacey Musgraves.

Keys plays ragtime on two pianos at once and then welcomes us to "Club Keys" and then sings "Killing Me Softly with His Song", "Unforgettable", "Use SomeBody", "Boo'd Up", "Doo-Wop (That Thing)" and "New York".

Next up, Dan + Shay perform "Tequila". The pair then present Best Rap Song. And the Grammy goes to "God's Plan" by Drake (a.k.a. Aubrey Graham), Daveon Jackson, Brock Korsan, Ron LaTour, Matthew Samuels & Noah Shebib. They cut off his speech and go to commercial.

Alicia pays tribute to Diana Ross for her 75th birthday. After a video package, her nine-year-old grandson Raif-Henok, introduces his "grandmommy". Ross performs "The Best Years of My Life", and "Reach Out and Touch (Somebody's Hand)". Dang, she's a legend.

Alicia, who's kept the show moving tonight, introduces Lady Gaga's performance of "Shallow".

Keys pays tribute to music teachers, including hers, before announcing the Jeffrey Redding is the 2019 Music Educator of the Year. She then intros her husband, Swiss Beatz, and rapper Eve, who in tuen introduce a performance by Travis Scott, who joined by Philip Bailey and members of Earth, Wind and Fire.

Smokey Robinson joins Alica for an a capella "Tracks of My Tears" as they pay tribute to the 60th anniversary of Motown. Smokey, Ne-Yo and J. Lo then do a medley of "Dancing in the Streets", "Mr. Postman", "Money", "Do You Love Me (Now That I Can Dance)", "My Girl", "Papa Was a Rolling Stone", "War", "Square Biz", and "Another Star".

International superstars BTS are now presenting Best R&B Album. And the Grammy goes to H.E.R. for her self-titled EP.

Kelsea Ballerini intros a performance of "The Joke" by Brandi Carlile.

Leon Bridges and Charlie Wilson introduce a performance by Chloe X Halle, who perform "Where is the Love?" The duo then present Best Rap Album. And the Grammy goes to Cardi B's Invasion of Privacy. "My nerves are so bad, Maybe I need to start smokin' weed."

Wilmer Valderrama introduces a performance by St. Vincent and Dua Lipa.

11:16 PM

Alessia Cara and Bob Newhart, both previous Best New Artist winners. She jokes that her great grandmother had all of his comedy albums. They then present Best New Artist. And the Grammy goes to Dua Lipa.

Musicians pay tribute to outgoing NARAS President Neil Portnow, who then takes to the stage to thank the Academy and the creative community. He then introduces the In Memoriam segment. It ends with a tribute to Aretha Franklin by Yolanda Adams, Andra Day and Fantasia.

Alicia announces the nominees for Record of the Year. And the Grammy goes to "This is America" by Childish Gambino. He's not there, but co-producer Ludwig Goransson accepts.

Moving right along, Keys announces the nominees for Album of the Year. And the Grammy goes to Kacey Musgraves' Golden Hour.
