DigitalHit.com was backstage and on the red carpet for last night’s 76th Annual Academy Awards. The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King swept all 11 categories it was nominated in, including Best Picture and Best Director.

Sean Penn and Charlize Theron took home the top acting awards.
