Chicago leads Golden Globe nods

Chicago, the new musical starring Renee Zellweger, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Richard Gere, leads the nominations for the 60th Annual Golden Globe Awards with eight nods for the film and those involved.

Chicago was closely followed by The Hours, with seven nominations and Adaptation with six.

On the TV side, nominees included 24, The Shield, Six Feet Under, The Sopranos and The West Wing for best TV drama. The nominees for best TV musical or comedy series are Curb Your Enthusiasm, Friends, Sex and the City, The Simpsons and Will & Grace.
