Anthony Quinn dies

Anthony Quinn, a two-time Academy Award® winner, is dead at age 86. The cause has not yet been released.

Best known for his portrayal of the title role in the 1964 film Zorba the Greek, Quinn had appeared in more than 100 movies including Lawrence of Arabia, Guns of Navarone and La Strada.

He won his first Oscar® in 1952 his as a Mexican revolutionary in Viva Zapata! and his second in 1956 for his performance of French painter Paul Gauguin in the film Lust for Life.

In his personal life, Quinn fathered thirteen children by five women — three of whom he married.
