Robert Culp, best known for his work on I Spy, had died after a fall outside his Hollywood home. He was 79. According to his agent, Culp collapsed while on a walk and hit his head.

From 1965 to 1968 he worked opposite Bill Cosby in I Spy, a comedy adventure that was the first TV show to feature a black actor in a lead role.

His career included appearances in many hit series and most recently audiences would have remembered him as Debra’s father in Everybody Loves Raymond.
