Alden Ehrenreich is the new Han Solo

Star Wars fans waiting to hear who will be playing the young Han Solo need wait no more. During a panel at Star Wars Celebration Europe, Alden Ehrenreich was introduced as the young smuggler in the upcoming untitled movie.

Ehrenreich made his feature debut in Francis Ford Coppola’s 2009 indie Tetro working with the director again in 2011’s Twixt. Two years later, he had roles in Woody Allen’s Blue Jasmine, Park Chan-wook’s Stoker and Richard LaGravenese’s Beautiful Creatures.

Earlier this year, he worked with the Coen brothers on Hail, Caesar! and has the lead in Warren Beatty’s Rules Don’t Apply.
