Chester Bennington dead at 41

Chester Bennington, who fronted Linkin Park and also performed with Stone Temple Pilots, is dead of an apparent suicide. He was 41.

Police in Palos Verdes Estates, in Los Angeles County, found the singer dead of an apparent hanging Thursday morning, shortly before 9 a.m. Fellow Linkin Park member Mike Shinoda said initially on Twitter that “Shocked and heartbroken, but it’s true,”

Bennington leaves behind six children.
