A urine test after Robert Downey Jr.‘s revealed cocaine in his system, but his recent arrest will not result in new charges. The Los Angeles County District Attorney has decided to treat the incident as a parole violation.

According to the DA’s spokesperson, this route is actually tougher on the troubled actor as he faces more time for violating parole than he does for a new charge.

The most likely course of action for the former Ally McBeal star is a six month stint in a lock-up rehab facility.
