After mostly positive reviews box office analysts were a little shocked to discover that Team America: World Police didn’t rule the roost in the weekend’s filmgoing. That honor went to DreamWorks’ Shark Tale, which took the top spot for a third weekend in a row with a $22 million haul.

The second spot went to the second weekend of Friday Night Lights, which took in $12.2 million, while Team America: World Police debuted in third with $12.1 million. The Gere/Lopez flick Shall We Dance? debuted in fourth with $11.8 million while Ladder 49 rounded out the top five with $8.5 million.
