Oscar®’s over for another year

Mar 25, 2002 by Ian Evans

It was a historic night at the Oscars®.

It was the first time that the awards were held in the Kodak Theater.

It was the first time since Sidney Poitier that an African-American, Denzel Washington, won Best Actor.

It was the first time ever that an African-American, Halle Berry, won Best Actress.

What a night! Well, it’s the wee hours (5:19am) here in LA, and we’ve just finished editing our red carpet photos, so it’s off to bed. More news later.
